During my numerous trips to foreign countries, I quickly realized that one often needs support in other countries – even when it comes to questions about immigration. So, from 2007 to 2012, I studied law in Leipzig, with a particular interest in immigration law. To gain insight into a variety of perspectives, I worked as a trainee lawyer at the immigration office in Chemnitz, at Amnesty International in Berlin, and at a law firm specializing in immigration law in Leipzig.
