My enthusiasm for law…

…results from the desire to be able to solve problems and offer constructive help.

During my numerous trips to foreign countries, I quickly realized that one often needs support in other countries – starting with questions about entry requirements. From 2007 to 2013, I studied law in Leipzig, with a particular interest in immigration law. To gain diverse perspectives, I completed a legal traineeship, working at various institutions, including the immigration office in Chemnitz, Amnesty International in Berlin, and a law firm specializing in immigration law in Leipzig.

Experience

I have been a licensed attorney since 2017 and have therefore been practicing law for approximately eight years. From the outset, my professional focus has been on immigration law, without any detours into other areas of law. This concentration has meant that I am familiar with procedures, administrative processes, and typical problems in this field from my own practical experience. Anyone who deals with a single area of law for years recognizes patterns in decisions and administrative practice and can more realistically assess for clients what is important in each individual case.

Specialist lawyer title and specialization

I hold the title of Specialist Lawyer for Immigration Law. According to the Specialist Lawyer Regulations, this title requires an additional theoretical examination as well as proof of special practical experience in this area of law. For clients, it is a verifiable indication that the specialization goes beyond general legal knowledge.

Immigration law becomes relevant for clients when they wish to secure, change, or permanently establish their residence in Germany. I advise on naturalization from within Germany and abroad, naturalization based on restitution, and residence permits of all kinds, particularly in connection with skilled worker immigration. Consultations are conducted in German and English.
